Minutes Of Last Meeting: Read and agreed.

Monkey Finances:
• Cash and assets have risen by approx. 10k baht since the last meeting, the last run, in particular resulting in cash from the hares’ budget being returned to the club.
• A subsidy for the hares’ expenditure is now available, but on the proviso that it is not spent on drinks at the On On venue.

Last Run:
• July, C’est la Vie: a 3-section run that despite rain throughout most of the circle was considered a great success, good trail, good food and a good circle. Nice work from the hares.
• September, The Well Hung Monkey (aka Xanadu) was a well-conceived theme with a highly popular shirt; the trail was very good although the food whilst plentiful and tasty was by the hares’ own admission basic, but the upside was the returned funds to the club. Although the meet up time was an hour earlier than usual and the run a normal length, there was no discernible increase in beer consumption on the run. Whilst hares are not actively encouraged to start their runs earlier than normal it is possible. Overall, 2 great days in the Monkey tradition.

Next Run(s): The Nebulous Monkey – date of the run brought forward by one week to avoid excess traffic in town due to the annual firework display. At the present time, PJH3 will be running on the same day. Hares are already making preparations, no issues.

Website/FB: The website is in great shape, however there has been some confusion recently on whether regos for the next run are open or not, this will be rectified. In addition, it was agreed to publish future meeting dates on the website, although for the foreseeable future meetings will be held irregularly.

Hare Line: Currently 2 virgin hares are scheduled for January 2024, it was agreed that it would be preferable for them to have some guidance from an experienced hare, Caroline offered to assist if required. No other issues.

Awards: Some awards are expected for the next run, JB to organise, and he will also provide supplementary awards (for entertainment purposes).

Other Business:
• After a brief discussion it was decided that there was no reason to change the current policy on the virgin sign up policy.
• Using hash friendly bars as On On venue doesn’t always meet the expectations of the chimps, consideration should be given to selecting an appropriate venue, and when chimps are departing and calling partners for lifts, they should do so from a location that does not reveal the location of the venue (ie down the road etc).
